Quilting In The Pines Guild

Quilting in the Pines (QUIP) was formed in January 2005 by founding members Iris Biasetti, Cathy Donn, Rosemary Gamblin, Judy Herman and Charlotte Lorenzo.

QUIP is the only daytime, weekday guild in Broward County.

QUIP was founded with the purpose and goal to promote, preserve, and perpetuate the art of quilting.

Visitors at every level of experience are welcome at our monthly meetings.  At our meetings we share a variety of activities - entertaining and informative programs - such as Block-of-the-Month, show-and-tell, table sales, raffles, etc.

Numerous classes and workshops are held throughout the year, and twice a year we have a four day offsite quilting retreat.

New and experienced quilters will find a friendly atmosphere and a helping hand from our members who share and learn from each other.

Our charity committee donates quilts to local hospitals, Foster care facilities, nursing homes and child welfare agencies.

We have donated 500 quilts to the Quilts of Valor program that provides quilts to returning soldiers and their families.

We have a Thanksgiving food drive and a Christmas gift collection.  Membership is $24 annually.
