Basket Walk

Broward Quilt Expo (BQE) of Florida is planning its thirteenth quilt show to take place March 12 through 14, 2015 at the City of Fort Lauderdale’s War Memorial Auditorium. The Expo was founded to promote, protect, teach, and preserve the quilt heritage of our country.

BQE is the result of the combined efforts of five Broward County quilt guilds:

  • Coral Springs Quilters, Coral Springs
  • East Sunrise Quilters, Ft. Lauderdale
  • Quilting in the Pines, Pembroke Pines/Hollywood
  • Southern Stars, Hollywood
  • West Broward Quilters, Plantation

We would like you to help us continue our Expo by donating a prize for our Basket Walk. Our Expo participants look forward to the opportunity to win a gift basket when they purchase chance tickets for the various prizes donated.  Any quilt-related items you can donate would be much appreciated – a basket with fabrics, notions, magazines, books, patterns, etc., or perhaps a gift certificate to your shop, or for a service you provide.  Perhaps your company provides other services that most quilters would appreciate, such as beauty treatments, massages, etc.; these gifts would also be appreciated as a raffle prize donation.

Your fliers, brochures, catalogs and posters would be welcome at our Hospitality Table as take-aways, as an excellent way of providing our participants with information about your services and products. Your donations will be acknowledged in our printed program if received prior to our printing deadline, and we can provide an acknowledgement of your donation for your tax purposes.

Thank you for your support of BQE. If you have any questions, or to contact me for your donation to coordinate drop off/pick-up, please feel free to contact meat the information above right. Our web site is www.browardquiltexpo.com, and please keep visiting this site as we add more detailed information about our show and the national quilting teacher workshops and merchant vendors.
